I s hard to some times get what is in our mind's eye to match what we see on paper. One thing you can try as you continue to work with this tangle is to extend the string of the tangle inside the triangle and not fill it in. can shade with a pencil, where it ducks under the triangle.
Your tile is very pretty and has great contrast.

DeleteSometimes i have the same problem with my black sections. I find that new pens showcase better. :) Nice job on this!
