This picture is an 8x10. When all finished I realized it was a picture of a girl praying. I wrote in the yellow part not realizing until my husband said that it looks like a dog. Do you see the dog?

Many Colors Put Together
In this painting what I did is put different colors onto the canvas and then put black on top and scrapped it across the whole canvas and the colors came through that were on the bottom.

Clouds
Clouds
To me this one looks like clouds. I used my special card stock and colors left over from another picture and cosmetic sponge to give it texture.

Snow Peak
In this picture I used a makeup sponge and just dabbed water color for the base and then used white acrylic paint for what I see as a mountain with snow on. I put Modge Podge over all the picture. Then when dried I buffed it up a little.

Zentangle Purple and Pink
I have a small drawing table by my phone and if I am sitting in the chair by the table I just start drawing.
Here is one of my newest creations. I tried a new paper I bought from Amazon. Made to do wax and water coloring on it. It still curled a little but laid a heavy piece on it to flatten out after it dried.
The boarder is not even so it looks a little crooked but that is the way it is made.

Pen And Ink
I like to work with regular ink in a bottle and a pen that you can dip into the ink. I saw a design similar to this in a book I have. Although when I tried to do the design it came out totally different.
I used markers to fill in the colors. In real life design the white spaces seen here are light yellow color.

An Idea I Had For Book
I decided not to do the book but I like this design. Of course I would work on it more and get to looking more professional but thought I would share.

I'm Still Here
So sorry I haven't posted since last year. I am trying to catch up on all the sites that I want to get back to. I am hoping to draw some more tangles this time with writing in them. I am just starting to do this so it may take a few days to get one ready to send.
Thanks for all who have looked at my site. I appreciate it and I am ready to get back into swing and get more things published.

Challenge 177
It has been awhile since I have posted. I have been doing the tangles but just not posted any. Today I am posting my version of "Truffle by Caroline Brand, CZT" which is the challenge for this week. I have enjoyed doing challenge number 177. I was very excited on how it came out and the color combination.

Challenge 171
I have dedicated this challenge to Artoo and his family. What a lovely family and to start an organization for what Artoo has is great. Here is what I came up with for my challenge. I just have the beads going around the inside but none on the chain itself yet as he will beginning again adding to his new bracelet.

Challenge 170 Bugles
This weeks challenge was a little harder until I understood it better about halfway through it. The designer of the tangle thought it reminded her of bugles, the kind that you eat. I thought that peanuts went along with bugles pretty well so I drew small odd shape circles to fill in my white space and gave the border a little odd shape.

Challenge 169 Circles
When I drew my circle it did not come out as a circle so I just added circles to it. Then added the other tangles. To me it looks like an alligator's eye. That is what I like about art. It can be anything you want and other people get to see what they see. Thanks for this challenge of circles. I look forward every week to the challenge. I also do dangles every chance I get during each day. They are so habit forming.

Challenge 168
The challenge for this week was called rain. In my drawing I had lightning bolts, clouds with silver linings, rain and grass.

Challenge 167
This is my version of challenge #167. It was a little harder then some of the others I have tried. We were suppose to make the Well and Punzel tangle together in one picture. I need a little more work on it, but enjoyed trying at least doing this challenge.

Challenge 166
First I want to wish The Diva an early happy birthday. I really enjoyed doing the challenge for this week. It was totally different then I have done before and got some new ideas. I like how you combined Carole Ohly's Tink and a similar tangle to the Hollebaugh.
This is how my came out.

This is what I came up for challenge 165. I started one and didn't like it. Close out the instructions and then tried to do it by the first one I made. Somewhere along the way I could not follow my copy. So I ended up with this one instead. At first didn't think would send this one. The more I worked on it the more I liked it. Not my best. But they say...practice, practice, practice. I will need to do that for this pattern.

I Took A Class
On Saturday, April 26, 2014 I took a class with a Zentangle teacher in my area. It was a great class. I learned how to do shading and some of the basic Zentangle designs. So I am showing one of the tiles I did when I got home.
